I loved the St.Bridget's cross and the Brent geese - your class is really learning a lot about history and geography, which will stand you in good stead later in your lives.
Hi my name is Aisling and I go to Sacred Heart school. I found your blogs very interesting, especially the part about Miyoung's pet hedgehog! What is your favorot animal? Mine is a dog. Look forward to hearing from you soon .
I have two pet snakes. They are both corn snakes. One of them is called Cornelious. She's a female and we got her a year ago. She has red designs on her back and her belly looks like a chess board. The second one is called Ra. He's a male and we only got him two or three weeks ago. He's orange and like Cornelious, his belly looks like a chess board. They feel weird when you hold them and we feed them frozen mice once a week. We have a special heated cage for the snakes.
Hi my Name is Sophie and I go to Sacred Heart school. My favourite sport is Gymnastics. my favourite animal is a Dog and I have two fish and two Guinea pigs.
My cat Bimbo is a big and fat. He’s black but his belly and paws are white. Underneath his chin is also white and he has a pink nose. He is a very lazy but lovable cat. I got him when I was 4 or 5. I named him Bimbo because my granddad sang me a song called Bimbo when I was a baby.
Wow, the GAA sport you guys play looks like lots of fun. Though it is not a popular sport in Australia I have seen it on TV before and it looks like fun. I would also like to congratulate your team on the great success of the winning the Grand Final. By Conrad
I like the one direction song (the best song ever) you guys sang because it was funny and it sounded like one direction. I am wandering who sang the song. Besides I actually don't like one direction
Hi Conrad, Thanks for your interesting comment. There are some similarities between Australian rules football and Gaelic football. We have a round ball and you have an oval one. We have a bar between goal posts and you get one point if the ball goes over the bar but three points if the ball goes under the bar. Another big difference is that in Australia the players are professional but in Ireland the are all amateurs.

ReplyDeleteI loved the items about the 1913 strike led by Jim Larkin and on Gonggi, the traditional Korean game - very well done.
